Pelagius Entertainment, Inc, was formed in 2004 with the objective of developing quality, fact based, character driven content with the primary focus on delivering these true stories to both traditional and nontraditional media outlets.

Pelagius Entertainment is an independent production company that acquires and develops quality, creative content for the film and television industry. In the past three years Pelagius has set up numerous film and television projects at major studios and networks. Our first feature film, “Talk to Me”, hit theatres July 13, 2007. The film is based on the true story of Dewey Hughes, a radio executive who discovers Petey Greene, an ex-convict turned radio disc jockey in Washington, D.C. Petey used his voice to speak out about social injustice, racial pride, and self-love on the radio airwaves. With bravado, humor, and real talk, Greene became a powerful influence in the African-American community with his radio show on WOL-AM in the late '60s, and become the voice of DC amidst the Martin Luther King assassination. Academy Award nominee, Don Cheadle (“Hotel Rwanda”) stars, as Kasi Lemmons (“Eve’s Bayou”) directs. Pelagius’s producing partner is Mark Gordon (“Grey’s Anatomy”, “Saving Private Ryan”).

Pelagius Entertainment is committed to being on an A-list provider of quality entertainment to the markets it serves and a profitable investment for its partners. In the summer of 2007 Pelagius Entertainment’ first motion picture production, “Talk to Me” starring Don Cheadle, was released by Universal/Focus Features.
